The auction will raise funds for Kids Need to Read, a charity helping to get books into underfunded libraries. Nathan Fillion co-founded Kids Need to Read with friend & author PJ Haarsma.

Spring Break is movie time at the Aurora Public Library. White Noise 2 will be included in movie lineup that begins at 9am with White Noise 2 showing at 2:50pm.
Fans of Firefly will have to choose between Nathan Fillion in White Noise 2 and Alan Tudyk in the popular Dodgeball, both being shown simultaneously.
The movies will be shown in the Meeting Room Eola Library, Auroria, IL.

“White Noise the Light” (as it’s know in the UK) was released in UK theatres on the 5th of January last year and has been viewed in many other countries.In Australia, the film went direct to DVD in July but there were rumors that it may still see a big-screen release in the US before becoming available on DVD.Unfortunately this didn’t prove to be the case and the DVD was finally released, a year later, straight to DVD.
Director Patrick Lussier states that the issues surrounding the delays and eventual abandonment of the theatrical release in the US aren’t about the movie itself: “It also is determined by how much money they [Rogue] have on hand for releasing not just this but all the films on their slate. It doesn’t reflect on the film itself, regardless of what you might think.” Despite it’s association with the previous movie “White Noise” getting it some bad press, many reviewers are saying they’ve been pleasantly surprised by how good White Noise 2 actually is, a good deal of the credit going to lead actor Nathan Fillion (Serenity, Desperate Housewives) and supporting actor Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica). Flickhead in assoication with Universal Pictures are holding a competition to win a copy of the White Noise 2 DVD
The competition is open to residents of continental U.S. only. Entries need to be submitted before January 15, 2008.
On Saturday January 12th at 2 p.m. Dark Delicacies will hold a signing for Artist Chad Michael Ward who will be signing his books Devilengine and Autopsyrotica. Joining him will be Director Patrick Lussier and Writer Matt Venne signing the new DVD release of White Noise 2: The Light.

Alan was quoted in an interview at moviehole.net as having indicated there was a chance of a Serenity sequel earlier this month however there have been rumours that Nathan Fillion has denied any such possibility.
